World Authority for Athlete Longevity

The science of extending an athlete's peak.

Performance has a biology. Longevity has a protocol. We translate the most rigorous science of athletic aging into stage-specific frameworks for training, recovery, nutrition, biomarkers, and mental architecture — across every decade of an athlete's life.

The Mission

Performance has a biology.
Longevity has a protocol.

We are a research and translation body for athletic longevity — the science of how athletes age, why their peaks fade, and what can be done to extend them. Our work synthesizes the most consequential peer-reviewed evidence across exercise physiology, regenerative medicine, sleep science, and predictive analytics into protocols a coach, clinician, or athlete can actually use.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is athlete longevity?

Athlete longevity is the science of how athletes age, why their peak performance fades, and what can be done to extend it. It spans training, recovery, nutrition, biomarkers, and predictive analytics to lengthen an athlete's performance lifespan while protecting long-term health.

How is performance lifespan different from lifespan?

Chronological lifespan is total years lived. Performance lifespan is the window in which an athlete can produce competition-level output — the most modifiable of the three trajectories. Healthspan is the period the body stays functionally robust. Athlete longevity primarily targets performance lifespan.

Can athletic decline actually be slowed?

Yes. Athletic decline is driven by ten identifiable biological hallmarks — including sarcopenia, tendon stiffening and cardiovascular aging — each of which now has evidence-based countermeasures. Addressed together within a structured protocol, decline is far more modifiable than older narratives assumed.

Who does Athlete Longevity work with?

We work with federations, teams, institutes and individual elite athletes on structured longevity programs and protocol audits, across youth, professional, masters and post-retirement life stages.
